The fun factor
Just running through the cornfield maze in the mud, looking for the way through is fun. Here you also become a hunter on a quest: find a secret word hidden in the cornfield behind 10 boars. Each boar gives you one letter you need to punch in the card. If you find all 10 (we only found 5 when our 3.5 year-old hunter demanded to go back and get some popcorn...) you can win a prize.
When the hunt is over, the kids can have fun with the mini tractors and diggers or play in the tepee.
The food factor
The bar is only open on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays (check latest opening hours) and offers drinks, sausages, snacks and, of course, corn! Popcorn is a definite hit - we saw most little hunters enjoying one after a (partially) successful mission.
The value factor
In 2023 for maislabyrinth adults pay 7 CHF and kids from 4 years old - 5 CHF. Food is also reasonably priced and we most appreciated the popcorn price - only 1 CHF per portion.

Bring good shoes - I recommend gumboots. If it rained, bring something to wash the shoes with (as they can get very muddy) or a bag to carry them home without making the car dirty
Bring anti-insect spray for biting flies.
